On The Border

This is a chain restaurant that we had not visited before Saturday night.

Area where tortillas are made.

As in all the Mexican restaurants were have eaten at, we were given chips and salsa.  We didn't care for the chips. They were thick and the flavor was not good.  The salsa was okay.  I found it to be sweet and was not all that fond of it.  Jeff thought it was good.

I ordered The Big Burrito with Steak.

Fajita Steak or Chicken, Mexican rice, cheese, black beans, caramelized onions & red peppers, and sour cream sauce.

The burrito was good.  The rice had corn in it and I liked that.  The refried beans were also good.  It was a good meal for $10.99.

Jeff ordered the Ultimate Fajita.

Mesquite-Grilled Steak and Chicken, Sauteed Shrimp and Pulled Pork (Carnitas).

Fried rice and beans and toppings for fajitas.
Jeff said the fajitas were good.  They were served with homemade fajitas.  His biggest complaint was that it came with only three shrimp.  The price was $14.99.

The restaurant is very loud with music and singing for birthdays. Our waiter was new and forgot to bring our teas and then sweetener for my tea.  He ended up getting his act together and surprised us by not charging us for the teas.

We enjoyed eating here, but probably will not return as there are many there Mexican restaurants to try.
