Boomerjack's Grill and Bar

We ended up here on Mother's Day evening after our GPS lead us to five restaurants that were all closed.   We saw this place earlier in the day and had made a mental note to try it before we left the area.  We were surprised to see that there was not a line to get in as all the other restaurants we passed were packed.  Does that mean that this is a bad place to eat?  No, it does not.  It could just mean that Mom's don't want to eat at a sports bar on their special day.

We started our meal with potato skins as our appetizer.  They were very good.

Potato Skins

We both ordered rib-eye steaks.  We both chose a side salad as one our sides.

The salad was good.  It was topped with onions, cheese and onions.  It came with two dressings.  We ordered Ranch.  We are not sure what the second one was, but it was very thick.

My rib-eye dinner.  I chose cheese and jalapeno mashed potatoes as my side.  Jeff chose mac and cheese.
The cheese and jalapeno mashed potatoes were great!  The rib-eye was only $16.95.  How was it?  It was very good!  See, you can get a decent steak for under my budget of $23.  Jeff even said it was very good.  We were both impressed.

We ordered a dessert and shared it.

Deep Fried Cheesecake with Ice Cream and Whipped Cream
The deep fried cheesecake was very good.

We really enjoyed eating here.  The food was very good as well the service.
