Spaghetti Warehouse

We ate here on a Sunday afternoon after touring the Sixth Floor Museum.  We were able to walk from the Sixth Floor Museum.

We have the Spaghetti Factory in St. Louis, MO and this looks a lot like it.

Trolley inside Spaghetti Warehouse.  There are tables inside the trolley.

St. Louis Post Dispatch is the newspaper in St. Louis, which is where I am from, so I had to take this photo.
We started out our meal with an appetizer We had the Sicilian Sampler.  We were able to choose four out of these: Toasted Ravioli, Mozzarella Fritta, Fried Zucchini, Calamari, Stuffed Mushrooms, or Bruschetta.  We chose the toasted ravioli, mozzarella fritta, calamari, and stuffed mushrooms.  I did not care for the toasted ravioli.  It was cheese filled and not meat filled. St. Louis is known for their toasted ravioli and this was a disappointment to me. The rest of the sampler was very good.

Jeff and I both ordered the Spaghetti Feast which the menu describes as: Our Original Spaghetti with Meat Sauce served with hand-rolled meatballs, sweet Italian pork sausage and garlic bread.

Spaghetti Feast
I liked the sausage and the meatballs.  I didn't like the spaghetti sauce and the garlic bread was quite dry.  I like a thicker spaghetti sauce.

The meal came with a choice of garden salad or Cesar salad.  We both chose the Cesar salad.

Cesar Salad
The salad was okay.  It had plenty of dressing on it.

The service was great and the price of the food wasn't bad.  I just wasn't thrilled with the spaghetti sauce.  I probably should have ordered the garlic butter sauce.  That is the thing about Italian restaurants, if you don't like their sauce, then you are probably not going to be happy with their food.

  1. Love the tables being used in the Spaghetti Warehouse, the round in shape and with classic furniture style. Stackable restaurant chairs
